Six Layer Mexican Dip

This used to be one of the favorite dips for our New Years Eve celebration when we were growing up.  I just thought about it today and wanted to share!!!

Six Layer Mexican Dip

2 Large Avocados
1/8 tsp. Garlic powder
1/8 tsp. Garlic salt
2 Tbsp. mayonnaise
1 Tbsp. lemon juice
1pt. (16 oz.) sour cream
16 Oz. jar picante sauce (well drained)
2 cans olives sliced
2 –  15 Oz. cans diced tomatoes
9 oz. shredded cheese

Mash avocados, add garlic mayo and lemon juice.
Spread on bottom of 13 x 9 glass pan.  Stir sour cream until soft. Spread over avocado mix.  Spoon picante sauce over sour cream, add layers of olives, tomatoes and cheese.
