Homemade Fries

About a year ago, I came upon a easy and very yummy way to make my own fries in the oven. I don't think I have bought frozen fries from the store since then.

Potatoes
Olive Oil
Seasonings of Choice (my old standby is Seasoning Salt)

Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

If you like, you can peel your potatoes, but we like then with the skins on in our house. Cut potatoes in half and then each half into strips. Place all potatoes on a baking sheet. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle your seasoning on top. Toss to coat all potatoes slices. Bake in a 400 degree oven for 30 -45 minutes or until. The time really depends on how you like them, if you like them crispier just leave then in for the longer time.

Like I said above, you can use any seasonings that sound good to you. My standard is Seasoning Salt, but we have also experimented with other things. Another one that we really like is Garlic Salt & Rosemary.
