Supre Easy Slow Cooker Chicken

This is a quick chicken recipe found at the tasty kitchen. It made my house smell AMAZING all day...and the next. This is why I love slow cooker meals so much.
I used canned tomatoes instead of fresh...just be sure to drain them first.
This is a recipe for 4...so double as needed.
Enjoy!

Matti

  • 4 whole Chicken Breast, Defrosted Or Fresh
  • 2 can (10.75 Oz. Can) Cream Of Chicken Soup
  • 2 cup Chopped Green Pepper, Onion And Tomato, Combined
  • 1 cups Low Fat Sour Cream
  • Oregano, to taste

Spray the slow cooker with non-stick spray. Lay the chicken in the bottom.

Chop up veggies to equal one cup, then add to the slow cooker. Add the soup and stir around a little bit. Add a teeny bit of water as well (1/8 of a cup or so) just to help mix the soup up, and create more of a sauce. Sprinkle some salt and pepper and oregano on top, then set on high for 4 hours.

About 15 minutes before serving, add sour cream and stir, then set the cooker to warm.

*This calls to be served over a baked potato..which sounds divine; however, I forgot to put the potatoes in the over, so we served it over rice..and it was still yummy.
