Mixed Veggie Grill

I got this recipe off of a few years ago. This is great recipe for grilling zucchini and squash. We love it and people always ask for the recipe when we make it.

2 Tlbs grown sugar
1 1/2 tsp dried basil leaves
1 1/2 garlic salt
1/2 tsp season salt
1/8 tsp crushed red pepper
2 Tlbs olive oil

Mixed vegetables cut into lengthwise strips (peppers, zucchini, squash, asparagus, etc.)
Mix brown sugar with herbs and spices; set aside. Place vegetables in large bowl or pan. Drizzle with half of olive oil and toss to coat. Add half of seasoning mixture, tossing to coat. Repeat process until well covered with seasoning mixture.
Place vegetables directly on preheated grill or broiler pan. Grill or broil over medium heat until vegetables are fork-tender, about 10 minutes, turning frequently.

FYI, last time I made this, I used two medium sized zucchini and two small-medium squash and that was the right amount of seasonings vs vegetables for our taste.
