Toll House Pie

Ever been to The Dodo?

If you have, then you have surely experienced Toll House Pie....right?

Well, even if you have done neither...this is one experience you should try right away.
Of all the recipes for this pie I've tried, this one is the best by far.

It's easy.
It's quick.
It's incredibly addicting.

Enjoy!
-Matti
PS....I ate it all before I could take a picture of it when it was done baking...but trust me...it looked pretty!

1 unbaked 9 inch deep dish pie crust*
2 eggs
1/2 cup flour
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
3/4 cup softened butter/marg
1 cup chocolate chips
3/4 cup chopped nuts, optional

Preheat to 325.

Beat eggs on high until foamy.
Add flour, sugar, brown sugar and mix until combined.
Mix in butter, beat until smooth.
Add chocolate chips and nuts.

Spoon into pie shell.

Bake for 55-60 minutes or until knife inserted HALFWAY BETWEEN EDGE AND CENTER come out clean.
Cool on wire rack.
Serve warm with vanilla ice cream.

*If using frozen pie shell...thaw completely and bake pies on cookie sheet, may need to increase baking time every so slightly!
