Rice Pudding

2 cups rice (cooked)
1 quart milk (canned milk works good)
1/2 cup raisins (golden are good as well)
1/3 cup margarine
3 eggs
1/2 cup sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg

Cook rice - while still warm add 2 cups milk, sugar, raisins and butter. Heat until warm. Mix eggs with remaining milk and stir into rice mixture, add cinnamon and vanilla. Pour into baking dish. Sprinkle with nutmeg. Set in pan of water so water comes 1/2 way up on pudding bowl. Bake at 325 degrees until set - about 45 minutes to 1 hour.
Serve warm or cold.
